Everything has its time - including fashion made of fur and leather. Sustainability, recycling and upcycling, digital resale platforms, vintage fashion,
our consumer behavior is also constantly changing.

But what should happen to worn fur and leather goods, for example? What do you do with grandma's old fur coat today? In this documentary work, the traditional work of the furrier is presented in the Atelier Mode in fur and leather, which has been passed on over generations from grandfather to father to son. The Wanne Eickel atelier has existed for 100 years and has experienced a wide variety of style epochs and fashion trends. Photographs from the present, detailed images of work pieces and materials, atmospheric shots of the workshop and workplaces, allow fashion and tradition to merge in the work.
